| How much milk does your toddler have in a day?
Izzy has 8oz in the morning and 9oz at night - but she guzzles it and wants more, things is 9oz is bad enough when she sleeps 12 hours I have to stuff her nappy loads to hold 9oz!
Thing is she sometimes sleeps the same time on 5 oz, so I don't think she needs it to sleep, but she obviously wants it.

| Thomas has an 8oz bottle in the morning and before bed. He will usually take it all but sometimes doesn't want it. It has never affected his sleep wether he takes it all or not.

| Chloe has loads in comparison, she still has 3 bottles a day. 8oz morning, afternoon and evening, plus what she has on cereal etc. She doesn't want to give up the afternoon milk yet and it's not affecting her appetite at all so am going to let her have it for now. I am struggling to get her to give up the bottles though, she'll happily drink water and juice from a cup but if I put milk in a cup she won't touch it |

| lily-ann has 7oz at night and that's it...except for about 4oz in her cereal..and yogurts and cheese etc....she has problems drinking though so we don't get much fluids into her and she only 'tolerates' her bedtime bottle because it's part of her routine |

| Imogen has 7oz in the morning, 7oz at lunch and 7oz before bed. She guzzles it down. I've been thinking about cutting out the lunchtime milk but she loves it. |

| Lily does not have bottles at all - she has been using a cup from about 7/8 months old - I am now wondering whether i have done wrong here as you all mention bottles? Should i not have given her a cup yet?? I am worrying now In terms of milk she has cup in the morning, with her lunch and before bed. Somtimes i put a tiny bit of choc milkshake in to make it more interesting for her!

| Not sure if we have enough But we made the move from bottles to cups about two months ago - he can drink straight from the cup but it's a bit dribbly (although I love the milk 'tash hee hee) so he usually has a straw in the cup and has done really well! Was worried about the nap and bedtime one, especially as we only started introducing one bottle about 11months old - phasing them in while stopping BF - which was just past his first birthday. But he's done really well, doesn't miss it (although seemed confused and a bit upset the first couple of nights ) and am glad of not having bottles to wash too He has a cup of milk with a snack mid-morning, usually the same in the afternoon and some before bed with toast - each about 3 ounces, maybe 4? So only 9ish total. He has another 3/4 with breakfast in porridge/weetabix though and loves cheese and yoghurt (yummy noises) and has a bit of these every day too. The only other drink he has is water, between 1 - 2 TT sippy cups through the day and with meals. I would leave him with it but it gets flinged all over and he likes making puddles by tipping it up Is there any guidence for how much milk toddlers should be having as a drink and/or in total? x |

| Well we seem to have made progress in the last couple of weeks. I thought I'd give it a go cutting out the afternoon bottle, and it was fine, she wasn't bothered in the slightest, it's made her appetite for her evening meal even better too so I'm glad I did it, we've also managed to move her milk on to a lidded cup so we're finally getting there! |

| Wil usually has at least one cup full in the morning (his cup holds about 7oz I think) then milk with his breakfast at Noelle's then anything up to 2 cup fulls before bed. He decides what he has by giving me his cup if it needs refilling or leaving it on the side if he is done with it. |

| amelie has 8 ounces at 5pm after her dinner.. then just some with her cereal.. she has it at 5pm because she goes to bed at 6 and doesnt get up til 8am .. and if she has it any later her nappy bursts.. so she has an hour before bedtime so most of fliud has gone through x |

| hannah only has it in her cereal. occasionally she will have a cup of milk but she mainly has water. I ask her what she wants to drink (juice is never an option for her) and she always chooses water. she does eat a lot of dairy though so im not worried about it x |
