I've always put Jamie at the bottom of the cot although his always been in a grobag so it didn't really matter. By chance we discovered that he slept better with a blanket as he likes to spread out. However, it does mean he crawls about all over the cot and doesn't stay at the bottom. I've finally got him to go to sleep (his been crawling round his cot and chatting to himself for a couple of hours!) and his not at the bottom. Would you worry about it or is it like the being able to turn - now he can do it it doesn't matter

I wouldn't worry, Immi was all over the cot from quite early on and she was fine. I always put her down at the bottom still though. I think it is like turning, once they know how its fine.

Lily is all over the place in her cot. She goes in one way, and by the morning she is upside down, turned over and at the other end xx
