my younger son has got this teacher , my eldest had her 2 years ago and we had problems , she lied to me , i caught her out bonnie !
she insisted that children brought hand sanitizer in with them ( think i talked about this before on other forum ) kieran's hands were an absoloute mess and his doctor told him the worst thing he could use was sanitizers so i refused to let him have them , his teacher had them washing their hands always and we were trying to get kieran outta this ( his ocd/anxiety, thinking back this is where his issues started )! , she used to clean her chair all the time and she has them walk in astraight line ( ok fine ) but on a line and they are not allowed to put a foot out of place , they are too walk upstairs with their hands by their sides not touching the bannister !
she has them pray daily , now i am not religious and i dont question her religion but i disagree with anything being forced on anyone , especially in school

my son has come home with the same piece of homework every day this week as it is not to standard , i have checked it , i see no problem with it at all , his actually has more info than the teachers one ( its an all about me sheet )
so if he does not hand it in on monday to standard then he will recieve double homework and a punishment excercise ! , My neghbour has just been round asking if i am having issues with teacher and her son has exactly the same problems , he also got a strike fr something stupid ( 3 strikes and parents get called in )
i dislike this teacher , i really do , i think her own ocd issues causes a problem , jeez 1 boy is crying every day before school as he dont want to attend her class

OH and i have been in that school every year stating we believe Scott is nowhere near where he should be academically , to be blunt he is slow , he does not retain any info at all and is prob a year maybe more behind his peers ( he has assisted learning ) and we are fobbed off everytime with oh he will meet his targets by end
of year

i sense a fun year ahead , just been saying to OH i think a trip up to school is due for a meeting , maybe as soon as Monday , i will not go through another year like i did when my oldest was in her class !
i now know of 4 mums that in the past week have raised issues regarding this woman , none with the school yet but i dare say it wont be long

Sounds to me like that could be where his ocd issues originated from. She has absolutely no right to force chilldren to continually wash their hands or pray. And not letting them hold onto the bannister is downright dangerous. I think you need to get some other mums together and all go and complain together. Its just not acceptable at all! x

I'd talk to other moms and write it all down and request meeting with the head and explain your issues, hand the letter in requesting things to change in a week if not the governors will be receiving letter.

She's ibvuously got issues and needs to deal with them, but not so they impact in the kids

I'd get in first hun. Don't wait for someone else to complain, although encourage others with problems to complain. I also wouldn't go mob handed if you get me.. Ie: you and oh go in about your son, not a pack of ranting mums.
If you've had problems before with her, the school must have records of this. She does sound a tad strange one of them teachers, that get a card at year end no pressie...

Lewis had a teacher in Year 5 - Lewis has always been behind his peers and received 121 help. Year on Year his school reports were amazing, mature independent, popular eager child.. then in year 5 we got lazy, daydreamer, bone idle, ignorant... woooooaah.. I walked into her class ready to punch.. she was a biatch, at the end of the school year he had dropped yes dropped 2 whole grades from a 4 to a 2.. He went into yr 6 age 10/11 at a yr 3 age 7/8 level She had apparently worked continuously with him 121 yet didn't realised he was left handed!!! and needed to sit on the left end of a desk I vowed if Owen follows into her class - He will change class or leave..
Lewis fortunately scrapped it back and left school with 2 x 3's and a 4 (national average 4) thus taking a lot of work from me, James and his yr 6 teacher who was amazing and got a hug, wine, choc, the bloody lot....

Don't let this teacher set back your sons education. can he change into another class ?? I had the problem whereby the other ye 5 teacher was much the same.
