| I really don't mind if I have a family full of little boys but apparently everyone seems to think that there is something wrong with that and that I must be disappointed that I'm not having a girl! Loads of people have made remarks now, from 'are you going to keep trying till you have a girl' to this stupid workman this morning saying 'oh dear, are you disappointed you're not having a girl' How dare you! No I'm extremely happy that I've got a healthy little boy on the way actually He then starts telling me how when they're older sons won't love me or be as close to me as a girl would errrr, how exactly do you know what kind of relationship I'll have with my sons!!! He also apparently thinks I should stop at 2 children because that's enough, aaaagggghhhh I don't know what's wrong with people, my brother lives abroad and after his second daughter was born people kept telling him how sorry they were that he didn't have a son! Sorry just needed to get that off my chest! |

| I do actually think people say these stupid things because they have nothing of interest to say - so just spout the same old crap!
I dont understand it either, you dont hear the same when someone has girls! |

| this crossed my mind this morning when i noticd nikki was onto boy number 4 , i did wonder if she is going to try again
i must admit i would be a bit gutted if i never got my wee girl but it certainly would not change my love for a boy had she have been one
i try to focus on being grateful for my children regardless of sex as so many are struggling and would walk on fire for just 1 child regardless of sex |

| When people ask if we know and we say girl they ask aww is that what you wanted and hubby and I both say we didn't mind all we want is a baby to take home regardless of gender.
The other classic is "oh why are you having another, you have one of each" errm who feeds, clothes and most importantly who pays for our kids? Oh yea my husband not you, bog off lol lol
People see preg ladies as a right to get their oar in, if it's not one thing it is another xxxxxxx |

| That annoys me, we get that bait, but I love my boys and after the behaviour of my nieces this summer, I'll stick to my boys.
People really need to start to think before commenting, we tic but have to along as we get lucky and buns is healthy we will be happy with boy or girl

| No Lisa you do get it with girls too. Ive been asked if im disappointed. Not at all I love having 2 girls and was content enough with that to be sterilised and not try for a boy |

| Thats so rude. I'll admit when I see someone with 4boys I do wonder if they'd like a girl but I'd never ask if they were disappointed they didn't have a girl. It's more like a passing thought I have. People just don't think about what comes out their mouths. |

| That is so rude.
We love our kids because of who they are and not because of their genda.
At the end of the day, all babies are precious, all toddlers and cute and all teenagers are a bloody nightmare regardless of their sex.
Don't let these brainless dickheads get to you xxx |

| aww that's rubbish, we would be chuffed to bits to have another boy, a girl would be nice but i can honestly say neither of us has a preference for next time. i thought we would somehow but we really don't, babies are awesome no matter what! |

| I hate to admit it but when my niece was born I was disappointed for about 10secs... I was hoping she might have been a boy as my bro and sil lost a little boy in Jan last year and as this was their last baby I kind of hoped they would have had one of each...thinking about it now I feel quite ashamed as my niece nearly died 7 weeks after she was born:oops: . I think everybody is blessed with what ever gender they have...and like Mari said babies are awesome. x |
