Have you heard owt about using iPads? didnt know if it was news that would be of any use to you in any form xxx

i've heard of Rett's girls being able to use them, and i know a few Rett's mums that have bought them one, i've read that some of them have responded really well to it


a friend of mine has just got daughter one for her birthday and has invited us up to go have a play with it to see if lily-ann would be able to use one/like it...we're thinking of getting her one either for her next birthday or xmas as 3 seems a teensy bit small still...and they're so expensive it gives us time to save! lol

I hope she gets on well with it. I know Jen's Maky uses her ipad and shes 2 so waiting to save is sensible but otherwise she will probs surprise you

Sorry to jump in Hayden loves our iPad.. He is only allowed to use it in the sitting position ;o) he knows to turn it off and put it down carefully and never carry it about or whack it.. they are quite durable and for Lily-ann I would imagine she'd be using it on a tray/desktop or on the floor and I can see how she'd get so much out of it..
I'd keep my eyes open as I believe the original iPad sells quite a bit less now the ipad2 is out.. Try ebay or such like.
