scan went well, baby was exact for dates, the sonographer was shocked we had it exact to the day going to upload a piccie in 5

for some stupid reason though the midwife had referred us to the hospital ante-natal clinic so we had to wait around for an hour after to see a dr...turns out they referred us cos lily-ann has Rett's...poor dr didn't have a clue what Rett Syndrome is or why we were there either...she didn't even know that we'd been offered genetic testing, we had to tell her...so that was over an hour wasted


since i've gone off on one there^^ i'll not mention just how annoying his mum was

urgh mother in law turned up thankfully just in time for us to leave, so didn't have to put up with her too much

after the scan we met back up to take the kids, sam decided to 'tell' her by showing the kids their new brother or sister, so i got down and showed them, heard 'omg whose baby is that!?!' really over the top pretending she didn't have a clue(even though sam's uncle already informed us she'd been questioning him about me being pg as she caught a comment on fb he made to me)

she then proceeds to bounce about and hug sam and gush congratulations...did i get the sam??? NOPE, not even a fake half hearted one,

rest of the day i had to put up with her pushing herself between me and sam so i was left tagging along, no attempts to speak to me, when we looked at baby outfits she was all but deciding for us! giving sam her opinions etc...then there are all the comparisons to how bad her pregnancy with her precious baby boy was

during the kids lunch she was constantly telling lewis to sit down, eat his dinner, one more bit then you can finish etc...he's my god damn child not hers!!! sam didn't say a bloody word

it just carried on like this for the rest of the day, by the time she left i just wanted to scream and punch her in the face, she was behaving herself compared to usual but grrrr...now she's gone and copied my damn scan pic onto her wall cooing about it being her 5th grandchild...not that she gives a shit about the other 4!

Aw I'm sorry she wound you up do much it's horrid when you get pushed out Ian's like that with my mum and dad but I bite bk as not fair!

Your scan pic is so cute too little bubba lying on its front you going to find the sec out or have a surprise?

we had decided not to find out, as if it's a girl we'd worry all through the pregnancy as we declined genetic testing, but figured if we don't know either way we'll still worry, so we're planning to find out, but keep it as a total surprise to everyone, including banda girls
