Taylas been using a pillow for the last 2 weeks and been fine with it. Tonight ive added a quilt...and im so paranoid shes going to slip under it and suffocate How were your los with a quilt? She hasnt moved all night actaully (so far) but i know i going to have trouble getting to sleep as ill be wanting to check her all the time
Any words of comfort ?

Lily has been using one for a couple of months and no probs! Think it'd be really unlikely to suffocate as they can move from under duvet easily. I alwys used to worry about suffocating when she was really little and couldn't move. I used to get up and checvk on her loads so I do know what you mean!

Thanks for the reply, i know im being silly...but she is such a fidget! Before when she had a blanket would fall asleep with it over her face, strange child!

Izzy is still in her cot and when she goes through stages of taking her bag off (she is behaving at the moment!) she has a mini quilt and balnkets - she always copes fine and manages to get underneath them and tucked in! Its cute how she gets under them!

Once they can move they are no more likely to suffocate than an adult because their body will instinctively stop it happening.
