| Abbie has not been herself all week. She had a sore throat has been a bit moany and clingy. I thought it was a bit linked to her accident and her body healing etc. However tonight I saw some suspiscious pimply spots on her tummy and legs Could this be CP and if so when will I know...as in how long does it usually take for the spots to really come out?? xx |

| Awww Pepper, I hope Abbie is ok but in a way it's good if she gets them now. Bethany was similar age to Abbie when she got it. Bethany had been fine leading up to the spots coming out (it says they can be grumpy/clingy/have a temp etc but Bethany had none of this). Then we noticed a spot on the side of her face and one on her stomach and they looked like blisters. This was on a Wednesday and by the Saturday I would say that they had all come out. I gave Bethany liquid piriton for the itchiness. Hope this helps xx |

| LisaG should be able to help as Amelia had it
IIRC the spots rapidly increase, so if after an hour of seeing them there are no more then it might not be CP |

| whe leo had them he had a cold for a few days then one morning he had 'bite' looking spots not blisters, by the night they had all dissapeard but then in the morning in the places where the spots had been they were all blisters. it took about 4 days for all the spots to come out then another 2 for them all to scab over x |

| The spots are more spread out than close together like with a viral rash, and a couple seemed to look like little yellow heads. i'm torn between wanting her to have them over and done with and not having them!! LOL xx |

| Oh god seeing Amelie's spots again! Poor little lamb!
Poor Abbie too! Pepper Amelia had one in her hairline on one day, and then got 1 more by the end of the day. Stayed like that the next day but then the day after she woke with about 10 and within hours she had about 40 of them. She only got more the next day and then they started to crust x |

| Wil had them at 9 months and he was covered but not quite a bad as Amelie. His started with a couple on Thursday then loads by Friday and on the Friday evening he was really uncomfortable with them. I got liquid piriton from the docs for him and lots of calamine lotion. I also ran his bath water through a bag of oats because that is supposed to help with the itching. I dressed him in just babygros for the duration too so his clothes didn't rub and it was easy to get them on and off for calamine. They generally get them everywhere except their limbs. Wil was off his food too for the first couple of days. Those that have had them do your LOs still have marks from the spots? It has been 7 months and Wil still has the odd mark on his back. |
