| I think alot of 'chav' names depend on where you live and who you know with that particular name? There always seem to be a phase where everyone calls there kids the same thing here, so some people try to be 'different' and end up with some random names! |

I just don't like names that aren't proper names, there's a girl at my mum and baby group called London and when I was pg my midwife said someone had just called their little boy Flash! i guess it depends on what you call 'not proper'.Some might say my boys dont have 'proper' names as they are so unusal, but i promise you they are not made up! |

| it also depends on if you like traditional names or something thats a bit different (within reason of course!) Personally a tradional name was never an option for us,although we both like a lot of traditional names we just didnt want to use them for our children. |

| Michael Jackson II i think I think this thread could be risky. It all depends on your own personal context. For example Caelyn's middle name is Sandi which seems incredibly chavvy until you know the reason it was chosen. My mum is Dianne and Neils mum is Sandra - San-Di. Shes named for her grandmothers. |

| I think you're right Kell it depends where you're from as well, Im in Durham so most people have strong Geordie accents, so when they're shouting for Destiny and the like it just sounds funny!
Some people probably think Ava's middle name is chavvy, it's all a matter of taste! |

| I really wanted to call Caitlin Cord if she was a boy. My OH, family & friends laughed and said it was like calling a child rope or string. I asked about it on AB and most agreed it was stupid. Looking back I dont think I would have done it but if I ever get PG again I do think id put it on my name list and ponder again much to OHs horror! |
