due to hannahs nursery sending me wrong letters telling me that there will be fee increases but it will not apply to me? for some reason. I questioned why and they said well yes it does apply to you but wont be until the end of november. Ok so I get a phone call today it wasnt the end of november it was months ago so I owe them £180 and havnt I been recieving the endless amounts of letters they have been sending me telling me I owe them money. No I havnt! so I get the arsy phonecall as if Im the one trying to not pay my nursery fees! grrr!

i'd ask for a copy of the letters they have apparently been sending and then i would state that you had a conversation with someone the other day about this and that your not paying the amount they want as they didnt give you proper notice.

i'd also show them the letters you already have and then check the policy what it states about them informing parents of increases.

nursery and kids club fees drive me crazy and the fact they think they can get away with all sorts

oh that would really piss me off !!! i would have tolf the huffy caller that it would have been paid if they had bothered to tell me !!!

its so hard when these people are looking after my baby. I dont want to cause any fuss. I just said look there has obviously been some mixed wires down the line somewhere and the fees would have been paid in total had I known the correct weekly fee price. and at the end of the call she said look dont put yourself out just pay a little extra each week. I just said no I will be paying the total in full on monday.

Im not having anyone think im trying to get myself out of paying for childcare when Id rather starve than be behind on her childcare payments!

ours went up from £173 a month (for one day a week) to £184 but it goes by DD so didnt do anything

hannahs has went from 100 to 115 a week. shes fulltime though. quite a large jump actually.

awww can see why ur annoyed x I dont see how they can be assy with you when ur the one that phoned to make sure lol dunno how tthey work that out x

Ours is £180 full time!

her nursery is part funded by the council and part private so its the cheapest nursery in our area. her old nursery was 150 a week and thats the most expensive in the area. it is a much better nursery although I dont think much of the office staff.

oh thats good! i wish the council would fund ours!

I personally think it works better that way. they should part fund a lot of nurserys. they put a lot back into the nursery. private nurseries are a business and need to make a profit so they dont pay their staff as well as they deserve and they dont put as much into the resources and toys.

yeh I bet they get paid less

Im taking Izzy out at the end of the month, with me studying and working half what I was part time (I only do 10 hours now!) - its just too expensive :-(

Oooh i would be really annoyed! Yes i would ask for a copy of all the letters!! I know what you mean about not wanting them thinking your trying to get out of it though! Grrr.
I missed Archie singing at school today cause his nursery are really pants for sending out letters, i was really upset although he thought i was there cause i said i had heard him singing loud and it was lovely

thats really sad. thats much worse than missing letters about payments. bless him at least he doesnt know any better
