We've been looking into getting Ollies headstone after Christmas and have picked a lovely one of a teddy holding a star that were really happy with so we wanted to finalise it. We've just found out our cemetery charges a £380 fee to approve it. Thats on top of the £500 the plot cost us, how the hell can they justify £380 to sign a piece of paper? I find it disgusting that theyre making money out of my sons death grrrrrr!

I feel so angry on your behalf! That is totally and utterly disgusting to charge that amount of money! I understand they want to approve what is chosen but to charge for it is vile!!

Obviously because they know were going to pay it, as if we'd leave him there without a headstone.

Luckily I've found a really good company who specialise in childrens headstones and dont charge the earth, every other place I've looked at are charging £1500 plus for the exact same headstone that their doing us for £520, I don't know how these companies sleep at night making such a profit out of babies dying, its disgraceful!
