Feel a bit silly now but I am still shaking like a leaf! In bed watching telly could hear shouting. Didn't think too much as nxt door are loud & we normaly hear all their arguments even tho they are across the drive not even attached. But this was screaming! Si turned telly down.... Omg this girl was screaming &i mean it's gone throuh me! Piercing screams & he shouting get off me... I though shot do I ring police / go out what do I do? I couldn't see anyone when looked out of window but knew it was someone on the road. I could hear her screaming &him shouting calling her a *^$% & then hears a massive thud and her screaming. I just grabbed the phone &called the police. (things like this is unheard of where I live lol the local paper the worst someones garden gnome get nicked lol)
But they didnt seem worried at all. As they picked up could see her and she flage a taxi down. So told police he's got in a taxi they were like ah thanks that was it. Guess they know she's ok now... But omg I'm shaking. Feel a twit couldn't speak to the guy was shaking so much bet he thought what a twit!

I would have done the same! You did the right thing! How where you to know a taxi would come.

Could you text OH and ask him to come home? (Mine probably would tell me I was over re-acting & to lock the door & go to sleep ).
