| What tog duvet do you have on your bed now? Do you use different ones for every season? I only change for winter and summer. Reason I'm asking is just had to buy a new duvet (bigger bed) and couldn't for the life of me remember what tog our current one is (and I'd cut the label out cos I hate labels lol) and the one previous to that didn't have a label (a very expensive down one is now the dogs bed since one of the little bastards peed on it, he was a puppy bless!) So just bought a 13.5 tog..then afterwards read somewhere I should get 15 for winter , and that 13.5 is an Autumn one So thinking is there a huge difference? |

| I have no clue but 13.5 sounds about right. I only change Summer/Winter. In fact this year I dont think I bothered. I just kicked the covers off in summer if I was too warm and in winter if im cold I pull a fleece throw over myself. Where the heck do people store 4 dif duvets for each bed in the house? Id just add blankets if you got chilly. |

| Well the king we have now is quite thin (so I think its a summer one) and when its cold I put a bedspread over the top, but tbh that is a faff!
I have no idea where folks put them?! Maybe they use those suction bags that make stuff really small lol |

| I just went and checked like a loser lol. Mines 13.5 and iv been fine, even in the really cold weather last week I didnt use the throw much (though our heating kicks on at about 2/3am for an hr). I do think the one at my mums was heavier though. Yes it was really cosy but i def dont think one at 15 is a necessity. You have Dan to keep you toasty too with his body heat! |

| LOL! Those suction bags work great! Squishes em down to a flat pancake and you can toss them like a frisbee under the bed! |

| I have my down comforter in the closet atm..have a regular comforter set that is warm. I loved the down one..and I believe it was 15, but the tags have long since come off... loved how it would fluff up when I shook it! LOL! Shayne hates feathers..so it's our guest comforter when company stays with us. |

And had to smile thinking about it! As for my duvet I do believe it's a 10.5 even though I ordered a 4.5! I am finding it too warm atm still so will be investing in a thinner one soon! I only summer and winter ones and just put a blanket or both quilts on if too cold!! Xx |

| I use a 10.5 tog all year round, but then my house is usually a fairly constant temperature and I get really hot at night when I'm asleep so wouldn't like anything thicker |

| Yeh I can imagine feather being heavy - would never get one as I remember what feather pillows were like as kids!
Down is lovely, but went for microfibre as its easier to wash and dry! |
