You've probably seen on the news in the last week or so it being reported that swine flu seems to be on the rise again.

Well you may recall last year that the under 5's were one of the "at risk" groups but this year they are not.

Does anyone know why this is??

I had Bethany vaccinated against it earlier this year and after the horror stories I would have again but I assume that the under 5's are no longer an at risk group, they won't be offered it this year.

xx

Hey hun, to be honest, im not too sure.

I think the reason that under 5's were a greater risk was because they were/are not strong enough to fight it off.

I know that this year the swine flu jab is in the normal flu jab. Aimee has had it has she is high risk with her heart.
