just following my other post, the dr saying he has tonsilitis...tonsilitus doesnt cause diarhea,possibly could cause sickness...but these are his symptoms:
sickness and diarhea*
floppy and sleepy
bright red with a high temp(38.9 this morning)
according th the gp tonsilitis and inflamed ears

do you reckon it could be swineflu?? x

i am not sure on swine flu but i remember when my son had tonsilitus , it really floored him , he went to school fine then at end of day was carried out by 2 teachers as he was so weak
having ear problems could also be the floppy cause , maybe he is struggling with balance

i hope he gets better soon , nothing worse than an ill child especially when cuddles alone dont cheer them up any x x

I had the same sort of symptoms when i had swine flu, absolutely awful

possibly could be then...i know theres not much they can do though, just have to wait it out, he's been asleep since we got back from the docs...he hasnt even walked at all today, hes just laid on me the whole time x

Myself and my brother suffered from tonsillitis and we were the same as the symptoms as above some times worse! My brother had it so bad and so often they took his out when he was 3 and a half.

I had mine out when i was 6 along with my adenoids and i had something done to my ears too (my mum says my ear drums were cut though not sure on that) but could not get any water in my ears for weeks.

He's very young so i bet it's really taking it out of him

hmm its just the diareah im wondering about, can tonsilitis give you that??
i used to get it as a child and i know it used to make me so ill and sick, i didnt have mine out till i was 12 though

hmmm not sure then now maybe it is tonsilitis x

yeah the dreaded D blergh. i dont know if it were grommits my mums never said grommits may have been though.

It's difficult to say if it could be swine flu as I remember when that first kicked off reading the symptoms and thinking blimey, lots of illnesses have these symptoms too. Hope the anti-biotics kick in soon (usually between 24-48 hours) xx

has he had anti b's today if so they could of gone through him and given him diarrhea x

no suzie, he's just had his first dose now...got in from work went to check on him and he's been sick at least 3 times in his cot and nappy had leaked all over! x
