i had the shocking phone call yesterday about my blood test results that my calcuim is lower than the lowest my doc said my heart could stop anytime soon if i dont start taking my tablets again, even thou i was taking one a day but obv not enough.
he was ready to admit to hossie and to have a drip put in for it but he asked if i will take them for a week and then more bloods taking which i rather do.

the calcuim tablets are chewble and taste nasty and make me heave but i have force them down me i am on 6 a day 2 in morning 2 lunch 2 at dinner. i am taking 9 tablets a day including my medication and a nasal spray

i feel old and like something is out there to get me

monday i felt good cause my consultant said some lovely things and also shocking things to me.

when i was first digonsed with thyriod cancer i asked him how long i got he couldn't tel me untill i had the op then i asked him after op and he said dont know then again after treatment and agai he didn't know and on monday he told me reason why he couldn't tell is becasue he wanted to wait untill all treatment was finished and to see if i recoverd well.
he said his personally self didn't think i would make it was that bad he never seen this type of cancer do this much damage as what it did too all my nerves etc
worse than lymphona as lymphona just have kemo.. this cancer was 9 1/2hr major op and still ended in HDU, and 2 lots a radiothearphy.

i am very lucky to be alive and thankfull of my consultant and his amazing team to stay alive. xx

yes but i would have to stay in over night at the hossie and i really dont want to aslong i take 6 tablets a day it goes up pretty quick.

U have amazing strength and it wasn't just Ur consultant and his team who saved u, ur own body must have fought hard to keep u goin it's jst absolutely amazing what u have came thru

hun i hope the tablets work quick and you dont have to go in, i understand tht part, they told me i might have to stay overnight for an op in may, but luckily i didnt.

Carrieann, you are such an inspiration to so many people. I've known you since before JJ was born and you have just been so, so positive about everything you really amaze me and I know I said this before but you are such a little fighter and I am guessing JJ probably helps you with that. I remember when you were saying we're going to kick cancers ass and you did good and proper I hope these calc tablets do kick in very soon for you huni. I was going to say if you need a chat you know my number but then remembered that JJ had lost your phone lol (guessing you've still not found it yet?) So much has happened a year hun, and you have dealt with it amazingly well.

Hopefully these tablets will sort out your calcium levels and you can put this whole horrible episode behind you and concentrate on your gorgeous little boy x
