Lewis has never been one for sleeping much during the day. He will hVe half hour in morning and half hour in afternoon, odd occasion he may sleep for an hour. He does still seem tired when he wakes tho but really cries so I get him up. He goes to bed 6.30/45pm and we don't get them up till 7am so he sleeps well at night. Do you think he just doesn't need longer in day. H used to have 2hr nap in afternoon and now still has hour an half.

is he on the move yet amanda? ava used to be exactly the same but as soon as she got active we have at least 3 hours in total through the day.

Arwyn gets up between 8 and 9am, naps sometime between 10 and 12 for half an hour to 45 mins and then naps again around 3 for an hour, maybe a bit more (but never 2) and goes to bed about 7.30pm

alfie wakes about 7.30. sleeps for half an hour at about 10.30 and then for another hanf hour about 3ish. hes never been a big daytime sleeper either. he goes to bed at 7 and never hear a peep out of him till the next morning. i think he just sleeps enuf at night. he does get tired during the day and is always grumpy when he wakes cos he still tired bt gets over it after a few mins x

Stephen gets up at 7.30, he'll have about half an hour at 9.30 and then about 2 hours at 12.30, then he's in bed at 7 usually. He has started sleeping less since he started crawling! xxx

eli has maybe 30-60 minutes 2 hours after getting up, and about 2 hours in the lateish afternoon before tea - this is his ideal but if he only manages 30 minutes or something in the afternoon he is an absolute horror and then wants a nap before bed which is rather inconvenient...

i think 2-3 hours during the day is recommended for 8ish months but every baby is different, it will change depending on what he is up to in the day too, now that eli is constantly on the move he has been much more willing to sleep (and needed it more, when he has missed sleep you can really tell)

No he's not yet he's being lazy infact I don't know if he will ever crawl maybe go straight to walking as he loves being on his feet x

bah benjamin still doesnt sleep through either...and lately he has been waking at bout 3/330am for a bottle and wanting snuggles grrrr!!!
(due to teething i'll give him that!!)
i doubt benjy will crawl either, he hates being on his front and just headbutts the floor, he can infact lift his head and upper body clear off the ground, aswell as bring his knees up to push up, but he just won't go any furthur than that...he prefers to hold onto the edge of furniture, but mainly on the sofa haha crazy nutter!
he doesn't hardly sleep anything during the day either...maybe 1 hr the whole day!! half hr at 10/1030am and then another half hr-45mins in the afternoon, whenever i can get him to go to sleep lol
