2 and all she says is dadada and deedeedee

now im the first to say they will speak when they speak but now its my own am thinking she really should be saying something more !

Ive read a few posts before about babies not talking much, i dont think doctors will pass you on or anything until they are 2.
Does she hear you well and understand what you are saying/asking?
I wouldnt be worried but id say when she is two then maybe get her checked out

Should add, if she isnt saying anymore. But i think its quite normal at that age not to say much?

I wouldn't worry too much hun. Thomas only said "daddy" up till he was 21 months old and nothing else, he didn't even babble all that much and never even attempted to copy me. Then all of a sudden he just decided he would talk and literally does not shut up now lol!

Definitly wouldn't worry, all of mine have been slow talkers but they do get there in the end. Ellie only says a couple of words, one of her words is THATTT which she uses for everything (including her daddy)!

Dont worry about it. Aimee was exactly the same at 19 months.

At 20 months she was saying much more, and by 21 months she could tell you any number between 1 and 10 if you wrote it down, as well as counting to 10.

i wouldnt worry, but if you want peace of mind just ask the hv when you next see her,
i was told that there is always one area a baby doesnt progress as quickly in because they putting efforts into other things, could be any area, rich was speech.
try not to worry too much xx

Ive spoken to my hv about callum he doesnt say a word other then mummy and daddy bt he doesnt knw what they mean x but hv wouldnt do anything atall xx

Sams says bugger all lol. I really wouldnt worry about it.
He does try to say things but hes so shy he mostly only does it when were not there xx
