Your meal plan _
PostSubject: Your meal plan   Your meal plan EmptySat Mar 12, 2011 11:28 pm

I'm struggling with food plans.

So wanted to know what everyone's was the last 7 days and the next 7 days.

If you don't mind that is.

Here are mine in case anyone else is struggling.

Spaghetti & Meatballs
Chilli con carni, wedges and rice
Shepard's Pie and veg
Tomato and bacon pasta bake, with garlic bread
Chicken, pea, sweetcorn and potato pie with veg
Home made french bread pizza's
Slow cooker chicken curry

This was all last weeks.

So far I have two meals in mind which is Paella and sausage casserole and I really fancy both of theses.

But need more ideas.

Now I don't eat fish but OH and Rowan do. So with the Paella it will be chicken then i'll dish mine up then add fish to OH and Rowan's.

So anything like that would be good.

OH eats a lot so need to be filling to.

Thank you

Last 7 days we have had:

Homemade chilli (made with turkey mince) and rice
Herb roasted chicken and mediteranean vegetables with savoury rice
Homemade leek and potato soup with wholemeal bread
Homemade turkey burgers with salad and jacket potato wedges
Panfried butterfly chicken with onions and peppers and savoury rice
Pork strogonof and rice
Homemade meatballs with pasta and tomato sauce

Bare in mind we are on slimming world diet so pretty much everything has to be made from scratch with no added fat.

I need inspiaration too but its so hard on this diet - i want a pizza!!!!!

PMSL Mari - it's a closely guarded secret but I'll let you in:- when you have 2 or more kids you grow extra arms Wink now go make Eli a sibling! Laughing

Seriously though - it was hard at first on this diet coz you do pretty much have to cook everything from scratch - no jars/packets etc, but you get used to it. Basically I had a choice of being a big fat bride or make time and lose the weight. So far so good Very Happy hence the fewer and fewer posts from me these days Sad

I've got stroganoff in too, mines a packet Smile

Also, what about things like chicken chasseur. Simple meals for me is things like savoury mince, with creamy mash and brocolli. I don't do pasta that oftern as LO don't eat it - but another one is Cooked pasta, add some chopped ham or Tuna, sweetcorn, cheese and a bit of mayo - nom nom then serve with a JP, topped with cream cheese (Carb alert!!) Laughing
