My name doesn't get shortened, I'm always emma robs the only person ever to shorten it.

But in school, Uni and work I go by my surname (like a bloke lol) where ever I go school dig jobs etc im know by my surname. And so does my brothers, but weird when we're all together and some shouts we all turn lol x

Jen, or Jennifer...despise being called Jenny. Altho I made allowances for Shayne and his Mom to call me that. Stems from a horrible teacher in 2nd grade who when saying "Jenny" would say it in such a way that made your skin crawl. She looked like a witch, wart and all!

My friends shorten to Shell/Chelle (i don't mind which spelling). i dont really like other people shortening though... like when i first met Matts family they noticed Matt called me Shell so assumed i preferred it and started calling me that and introduced me as Shell to people at church, its silly but it bugged me. I just prefer it to be a name for friends.

i hate Shelly. I never want to be called that.

When I was little all of my german family used to call me Susy which I absolutely hated, they still do but I rarely see them now so it doesnt matter

Pretty much everyone I know call me Suse, even my bosses - I rarely get called Susan.

i was always Joanne until probably about 2005 then i suddenly became Jo, My parents call me either depending on if i am in trouble, my sister ALWAYS calls me joanne although her kids call me aunty Jo
my aunties and uncles never shorten it.
and its funny my sister is a Shelley, not a michelle but people always assume she has shortened her name.
i actually prefer being a Jo

Everyone calls me Kelly, but my name is Kellyanne. I've noticed a lot of you call me Kell.

There was one person at work who called me Kel but if anyone was to say Kel I'd not turn round, only to Kelly
