| still havent got the cheque through for my car and the hire car has to go back 2mo, how the hell im going to get to work and back is beyond me, no one can take me and its 2 busses away, so will have to walk the kids to wherever theyre going, then get 2 busses to work in the space of an hour, no chance...once again being inconvenienced by the bloody woman who hit me  |

| I would speak to the insurance company - you should be able to keep the hire car until you have received the cheque and even be able to keep it for 7 days after until it has cleared. I wouldn't stand for not having a car hun - like you said it wasn't your fault so you shouldn't be inconvenienced. xx |

| iv spoke to them tbh the woman wasnt very helpful saying 'oh your jumping the gun a bit the cheque may arrive tomorrow' i think im going to phone back and see if i can speak to someone else, its thursday tomorrow so theres no way the cheque will clear by the end of the week even if it does arrive tomorrow  x |

| Surely you should be allowed to keep the car until you have the cheque in your hand.

| That's ridiculous though because even if the cheque does arrive tomorrow, it doesn't mean you can go and get a car because the funds haven't cleared yet. If it were me I would definately ring them back and demand that you keep the car for 7 days AFTER you have received the cheque. Grrrr I work in insurance but some insurers give us a bad name!!!! I wish I could give them a ring for you!!!!  Hope you get somewhere with them. xx |

| yeh because even if you had the cheque and it had cleared you still have to get a car? what if you didnt have the time. they have to be more considerate! thats very unfair. phone and speak to them again you might have just got an arsy member of staff
