| £240 is hardly anything - most people spend a tenner a week on disposbales - thats £520 a year - so a baby in nappies til 2.5 costs about £1300, not to mention the cost of wipes!
I have spen WAY more than £240 on nappies, because Izzy has custom made nappies and the expensive ones! Still not even half the cost of sposies though |

i have 19 and that is waaay to many, it can become quite an addiction, spesh the personalised ones i didnt use them from newborn so not sure how many you would need for a newborn though probibly more. i wash every 2-3 days also you can sell them on after you'v done with them, usually at least half the price...or you can save them for your next x |

| We currently have 15 bumgenius v3, it's just about enough for Elijah and we only use them during the day (about 9am til 9pm) but he is only 13 weeks so has lots of changes. 20 would probably be better, although sometimes you can get away with just changing the pad inside the pocket and keeping the same nappy on as they are dry to the touch We got ours on sale and got some from mothercare when they stocked them and got our £25 off voucher from our local council so it hasn't cost us too much, maybe £150 - but that site I linked to you get a bucket and stuff too |

Nothing personal just about what kind of service would be interesting to you (although sadly I don't think any of you are nearby aww ) |

| Also depends how thirfty you are. If the paper liner has only been weed on you can actually put it through washing machine and use it again. It will last 2 or 3 times then.
And if you use disposable wipes again you save money. Im currently moving to full time nappies but have decided to use the mothercare smart system at night with the disposable pads you put in the smart wrap. Still gotta pay but only 3.50 for 25 so 3.50 will do nearly a month and they are better at biodegrading as no plastic packing so not bad for environment. Then in day use my pockets. Im also trying to get my wipes stash going again, ive bought a lock and lock tub to put my mini mussies in and just need a few supplies to make the solution then im gonna do that too |

| Oh, Mario have you tried the disposable pads yet? I saw some online that were a good deal (I think, they were nearly £4 a box of 18 but 3 for a tenner?) and thought they might lessen the amount of stuff I carry around for going out??? Let me know if they are any good, I fancy trying them with the bumgenius pockets. |

| Does anyone know if the big flip inserts are the same as the standard (not newborn) bumgenius v3 ones???? I can't seem to find the bg normal ones on sale without the nappy (although the v3 are only 11.50 now so might just go for that) |

They are almost identical - the microfibre is the same thickness, the only difference is the BG ones have poppers to make small and medium, the flips just fold over. |

There has been a lot of pressure for bounty to include more 'natural' products - the natural version is called a Mama Pack if you are interested |

| Some of you have said that you use muzzys to stuff them, are they just normal muzzys? I have loads from when Ollie was younger so wouldn't mind cutting them up or whatever. |

I wouldn't bother with muslins for Ollie - they are really only good for newborns I could do you a good deal on some bamboo ones if you like, cos I make them and they work REALLY well! |

| oh I meant to ask when I was asking about inserts lisa, I think we are going to have to get some more cos adding a newborn one is too bulky and we only have the same amount of normal size ones for our bg as we do nappies (if you see what I mean) so I might pester you for a quote |
