I could do you a good deal on some bamboo ones if you like, cos I make them and they work REALLY well! Oooh yes please! Is that what you use for Izzy cos I remember reading that she pees A LOT! So does Ollie especially throughout the night. |

| Yes she pees LOADS!!!
How many do you want? I'll work out how much material it uses and just base it on the material price which shouldnt be much |

| Right, the price of the bamboo works out as 35p per layer for a regular pocket nappy insert size
I would say stuffing a pocket nappy with 8 layers is a pretty good absorbency for the day, that would be made of 1 long insert that folds in half (as any more than 4 layers and it takes too long to dry)
So that would be £2.80 per nappy (that is a good price cos these Little Lamb Boosters on Ebay are really thin, I have them and would need 4 of them in a nappy which would be £5.80!)
I can make one up and pop it in the post for you to try first if you like - check its thick enough for him! |

| We used the PHP-one way liners (100's) or the Mioliners (160's) both from mothercare (before we switched to reusable liners) We did use Boot's for a bit but not flushable and used to move about - not ideal poo catchers |

| ah we dont have any babies shops in town so it has to be bought online - and places like mothercare with a £5-6 delivery charge make it wayyyy to expensive! x |

x Thats one of the reasons I switched to fleece liners, we have a mothercare and boots, but its very rare I went into town tbh and the bus fare was as much as the delivery So I thought frig it, and switched to fleece..so much easier A lot of the baby stores have a minimum of £4 delivery, so just for liners you may be better buying in bulk. Or try ebay - some have free delivery http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=nappy+liners&_sacat=See-All-Categories |

I'm sure they'd be fine with BF poo's. Oliver has the odd runny poo's and we've never had no probs, I just swill down the loo or if i'm lazy just soak..more solid poo's just go straight down the loo, then liner goes in with the mucky nappies. As for sweaty bits etc, no. They keep/lock all the moisture aways from their bits and bum and can't say weve had any sore botty's since using them I wash them with the nappies at 40/50C |

| Also, they don't stain and prevent staining to the nappy too. |

| I agree with Zee - fleece allows the moisture through and keeps bums dry - Izzy can have a sodden nappy and her bum is still dry!
She so rarely even has a pink bum now, in the last few months she has maybe worn 3 disposables, and each and every time she has got a rash - the spots too within a couple of hours! Bung a cloth nappy on and it goes away! |

| welcome jules thanks ladies, I will think about it - when we remember to put a liner in (rarely) it generally doesn't do much cos the poo is so liquid haha Elijah hasn't had any nappy rash ever to date touch wood so obviously the bumgenius are keeping him dry, I like that you can just change the booster and the nappy is still dry...oooh magic! |
