Chloe's temperature is up at 39.2 after giving Calpol, yet she's shivering, she's not herself, just been flaked out on the sofa all day. Do you think it's ok just to keep an eye on her. I don't want to run her to the docs for every little thing, but I don't want to ignore it if I should be doing something else!

how long after the calpol did you check her temp? i usually check rowans after 30 mins. if calpol dont work try nurofen when rowan is ill and running a temp this is the only thing that will bring it down

You're a star Kelly, found some nurofen and she's perked up within 10 mins of having it, she's actually got off the sofa for the first time today and is playing.

You can give 2.5ml of nrofen 3 times day and 5ml of calpol 4 times a day, also lukewarm bath and cool cloths on foreheadand neck, keep her stripped off and a fan on. Sympathies from me x

always works for rowan. if she is unwell within a few hours she'll start to feel unwell again so give her some more before bed and she should sleep well
