| hi ladies,
for those on my fb i apologise i wrote that the appt went well, but to be honest i have alot of family on there and friends that would over worry if i wrote the truth. i have to protect my dad sometimes as he worries alot.
well 2 weeks ago i had a trace of blood and protein in urine, today i had blood in it and its been sent for testing, probably just an infection and hence the tummy pains i was having yesterday.
then she checked bubs and he/she as completely moved around and she couldnt tell what position bubs was in, so had to put him/her down as mobile, not such an issue tobe honest, i'm not worried about that.
the one i'm worried about is that the baby as only grown a cm in 2 weeks and apparnetly should be growing a cm a week. but mw said not to worry and bubs could grow alot more in the next 2weeks
i'm not worrying about it too much to be honest, just wish it had gone a bit smoother
not expecting replies just wanted to write it down somewhere so i can see what happened and then realise theres nothing to worrya bout |

| aww hun. it is normal though.
some times baby measures bigger then next not grown, or smaller then the next grown loads.
We got to remember every pregnancy is different it's not text book, same as raising a child. they all grow at different rates. |

| Hugs hun, I know how stressful it can be! To reassure you if I can. At 33/34 weeks I only measured 31 cm. I was sent for growth scans and they were able to see that Caitlin was continuing to grow just very slowly (I too had high BP so they were worried about that). From 34 weeks I was monitored by consultant, had reg scans, extra midwife apps, regular traces etc... At 40 weeks I measured 34cm and it was predicted caitlin would be 6lb ish... I was induced & Caitlin was born at 40 +3 weighing 8lb 1oz!!! Every midwife who palpated me said she was going to be small and when she was born were amazed. They can wriggle themselves into some odd shapes and measuring is such guess work! Hope everything continues to go well and that your feeling a bit better xxx |

| Hi. I would try not to worry about the growth. I was made to worry all thru my last pregnancy, the did ascan at 36 weeks as thought he was small. He was 4lb which was a little on small side. He was born weighing over 8lb so had been worrying me for nothing! Hope urine comes back ok x |

| Try not to fret overmuch hon. The growth measurements are so abitrary. I was told C uwd be 8lb odd....5lb 12! And even on scans i was told Awen was 6lb at 36 weeks and 2 weeks later was only 6-5 born so its not an exact science. Plus they often grow in little fits and starts whcih is why they allow 2 weeks for error, bet you will get ther ein cpl weeks to find lil one has had a good stretch! |

| Hi hun, try not to worry... Which I know is rich coming from the worlds worst worrier here, but I was measured 29cm at 27 weeks and then only 28cm at 28 weeks. I asked the MW about it and it all depends on which way bubs is lying and also who measures you. Like for example 32 weeks I was measured 33cm and then 34+6 only 34cm. Hope this makes sense, but I'm sure if there was anything they were concerned about they would have sent you for a growth scan XX |

| This little miss was estimated 2lbs 11oz at my growth scan at 29 weeks which meant that by birth she should be about 9lbs, but I think she's going to be more like 7lbs judging by the size of me now XX |

| tbh hun I wouldn't worry at all... how can they accurately tell you that ure baby has only grown 1cm when they can't even tell what position it's in? Sorry. but if you put something that was constantly moving -in a bag of water and tried to measure it accurately you would have no chance... I know it's their job but it just isn't that accurate. |
